Sioni Temple (478-493) is a three nave basilica, the oldest and the most well-preserved Basilica of the country. Church exterior is simple and concise. The walls are lined with smooth slabs of tuff saturated turquoise. The interior of Sioni Bolnisi affects wealth and luxury. On the facade of Bolnisi are ancient inscriptions, the oldest examples of Georgian writing. We will also visit a local Ethnographic Museum. Visit to Tsugrugasheni Church (XIII c.), built by King Giorgi Bagrationi. Church is decorated with traditional Georgian ornaments and is a final chord of the Georgian architecture of the Golden Age.
Recently, Georgia aspired to be considered as an ancestral home of the first Europeans. The bones found near the town of Dmanisi, forcing scientists to reconsider their views on evolution. Visit to Dmanisi archaeological site, where during the excavations in the city were found skeletons of Homo Georgius. The museum, located next to the excavations, where we will visit the exhibition with extinct copies of prehistoric animals and most importantly - human fossils - the remains of the first Europeans - the age of 1.8 million years.  It is recognized that it is the oldest bones found outside of Africa, where, as commonly believed, millions of years ago the monkey acquired the first human traits.
